No Credit, Don’t Sweat It
The recession has created a frugal consumer who may eschew credit, either because of financial difficulties or due to idea that borrowing is bad. However, there will always be the need for easy loans no credit check necessary for those people who have a bad credit history or no credit history when an emergency arises that has to be dealt with immediately. Credit, during those times, is not bad, but the quickest solution to a pressing problem. So, whether you’ve lost your good credit score or simply are afraid to borrow long-term, there are still other ways to get credit during financial emergencies.
Payday Loans and Pawnshops
A bad credit history will not prevent you from getting a payday loan. They do not require a credit check. In fact, all you need to get a payday loan is verification of employment so that the lender knows you can repay the debt. If you don’t have a job, but have some item of value, you can always take it to a pawnshop and get credit based on that collateral. However, if you cannot repay that loan then you forfeit whatever you put up for collateral.
Build an Emergency Fund
People who want to opt out of revolving credit lines, like credit cards, or even car loans due to a pay it now mentality, will also need to develop emergency stashes of cash. It is possible to live without long-term debt, but at times there will be a need to get short-term credit to pay for life’s little emergencies. An emergency fund should consist of at least six month’s living expenses, more if you are at risk of losing a job. By supplementing their savings with short-term loans and as long as those debts are repaid quickly, a person can still maintain their no long-term credit lifestyle and still have access to short-term credit later on.
